Christopher Alexander doesn't just express a 'concept'. At American Midwest Stair, it's what we live by. Each stair we manufacture represents a unique element in which to transform the client's space.

AMS has been building pre-built and custom stairs since 1991, and we are proud to provide quality and service at a fair price.

Located in an 8000 square foot facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we have tailored our product line to concentrate on pre-built box stairs. 

We complement our product offering with contracted curved stairs, to specification, and complete the supply and installation with complimentary rail systems.

Typically we have concentrated our market in the states of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

All our stairs are shop-built by our knowledgeable and experienced employees to precise on-site measurements.  Upon request our skilled crews will install your staircase.
